WAL and Autologous Fat Transfer

Breast enhancement using fat grafts (lipoaugmentation) rather than silicone or saline implants employs fat suctioned from the patient's buttocks, thighs or other fatty areas. This type of breast surgery can be used to increase the size of the breast or to fill in defects or abnormalities in existing breasts, including enhancing the appearance after breast reconstruction and softening the look of existing implants. The harvested adipose tissue fragments (small islands of approx. 50-200 adipocytes) are flushed out with water by body-jet® and collected in a sterile collection container, where they are immediately separated from the irrigation fluid. These tissue fragments can then be transplanted by using small syringes.

This method is not only suitable for breast augmentations, but also for other fillings like face modelation, face and hands rejuvenation and wrinkles treatment ( permanent autologous fat implant).
